A Day of Friendship: Welcoming Spring
Saturday April 5, from 10am-11:30am
The East Wind Foundation & Vibing with Cultural Leafs ask you to join us for a beautiful morning of cultural celebration, music, and community as we welcome spring together!
Featuring:
- a Lion Dance Troupe performance to bring prosperity and joy
- the enchanting sounds of the traditional Chinese Guzheng musical instrument
- Shiishongna Bird Singers honoring Indigenous traditions through song
- and the presentation of an E-Bike for the Gabrielino-Shoshone Eco-Cultural Center
Community Saturday
Saturday April 5, from 11:30am–1pm
In the middle of the day, our weekly Community Band and Community Arts are happening! Come join Logan Hone to make music with the band and explore the arts, from puppets to painting.
Community Art Exhibition & Celebration for Uncle George’s Cameras
Saturday April 5, from 2pm–5pm
Join us for the finale of our pinhole photography workshops using Uncle George’s cameras!
Our other upcoming events include Beginning Guitar for Elder Adults on Wednesdays and Latin Percussion Lab & Latin Jazz Sessions on Thursdays. And on April 22, we’ll be hosting weekly Tuesday classes by the Neighborhood Music School for helping young children build musical skills, and for letting everyone of all ages have fun with music!
