Calling all musicians searching for a free, friendly, all-ages, music-making environment! Art in the Park is excited to welcome back the Community Band with Logan Hone in person. The socially distanced band will be playing outside in Hermon Park each Saturday, as a series of creative musical sessions and concerts.
With artist Maddie Keyes-Levine at Milagro Allegro Community Garden Explore and experiment with deriving pigments from flowers that can be used as a dye or watercolor ink. We will be prioritizing experimentation and somatic experience over perfection.
Thoughts Into Images Workshop, In this drawing workshop we will exercise one of the most fun processes of art making: create a concept! By freehand doodling we will try to gather from our memories, opinions, dreams, and anything living in our heads to come up with an idea, or concept, to create a bigger art project that can transcend your ink-filled page into a real photograph that is inspired by your concept.

Explore the relationship butterflies have to Zinnias. Come create butterfly wings out of craft paper with tempera paint. We will be looking at the color and designs of butterfly's.
