Doll Making Workshop with Kayla Ephros

Kayla Ephros’ Doll Workshop is open to all age groups, and will provide basic materials (fabric, stuffing, sewing supplies) for a rag doll.

Cutting and sewing instruction will be given as needed, and sewing machines will be available for use.

Doll making has been a component of Ephros’ art practice for several years, and by incorporating her drawings and poetry into the process, the dolls have taken on many forms. Ephros is the co-creator/organizer of September Spring: An Interdisciplinary Poetry Workshop at the Kesey Farm. She also teaches art to Elementary School students throughout Los Angeles via the Armory Center for the Arts.
