Community Band Monthly Recoding Project – Introduction

The Community Band is learning and recording one new song each month. Participants use whatever recording devices they have available to remotely record their part and the parts are edited together. Musicians of all ages & skill levels are encouraged to participate with any instrument.

Each month includes 2 non-mandatory Zoom meetings on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday at 6pm.
1st Wednesday: an introduction to the month’s song & a quick rehearsal
3rd Wednesday: listening session and reflection

For March 2021 — 
Community Band is learning & recording Small Town Story, a famous Chinese pop song composed by Weng Ching-Hsi with lyrics by Zhuang Nu & first recorded by Teresa Teng in 1978.
