Calling all musicians searching for a friendly, all-ages, music-making environment!
Community Band at Hermon Park is held outside in the park each Saturday, as a series of creative musical sessions and concerts directed by Logan Hone. Musicians of all skill levels, ages, & backgrounds are invited to join the band in learning an eclectic mix of music, including jazz, latin, folk, & original material. Participation is FREE. Bring your instrument and water. Percussion instruments are provided.

Community Band is made possible through a partnership between Art in the Park and Neighborhood Music school.
Heath and Safety:
- The Community Band will be held outside on days with good weather. On days with excessive heat or rain, the Community Band will be held indoors. AITP is guided by the City of LA on Covid protocols. Please check our website for updated info.
