Community Arts – Cyanotype

April 2, 2022 @ 11:00 am - 12:50 pm

We are going to be making cyanotypes, which is a type of early photo image-making. The cyanotype process uses the energy of the sun, and iron  to create images. The name cyanotypes comes from the Greek word “cyan” meaning “dark-blue impression”. The cyanotype process was invented by the astronomer and chemist John Frederick Herschel in 1841.
