Social exclusion to various rights, opportunities and resources is unfortunately overwhelmingly present and often unnoticed in our society. But there are social moments in which this exclusion is turned on its head by subversive actions and ideas, forcing us to reckon with the presence of exclusion in our society. The artworks in this exhibition both directly and indirectly subvert this exclusion by hinting at, demanding, and reclaiming access, therefore, crossing out the denial within a denied access and consequently providing this exhibition with its title access ̶d̶e̶n̶i̶e̶d̶.
