SUMMARY:Community Arts
DESCRIPTION:Community Arts is held outside in Hermon Park in the Arroyo Seco Saturday. Join us in exploring the arts\, from puppets to painting. \n\nSaturday from 11 am–1pm  \nFree\, all ages  \nArt in the Park welcomes visiting artist Jess Ofelia Sandoval in May.  We will be using different materials and techniques to explore printing\, the process of creating an impression on a surface.  We’ll use geometric and organic shapes to create an image on fabric. \nMay 13th: floral printing – color\, cloth and organic shapes inspired by nature.  \nImage courtesy of the artist. \nCommunity Arts is held outside in Hermon Park. \nLet’s keep each other healthy\, please stay home if you feel unwell or have any potential Covid symptoms. If the weather is extreme due to high heat or rain\, Community Arts will be canceled.
